About Our Search
Our Denver office is looking for a strong Interior Designer to join the Senior Living / Affordable Housing Market Sector. Our next team member will have excellent communication, design, graphic and visualization skills. This individual will manage, organize and coordinate with the design and technical project teams throughout the design process to successfully execute interior and architectural projects.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating successful residential communities and can support teams through the jurisdictional entitlements process, funding application process, and design and construction phases of each project.
About The Position Develop design concepts, narratives, 3D renderings, virtual reality presentations, etc. as needed to effectively convey design intent to clients. Lead design-focused visioning sessions and presentations to clients, community groups, etc. Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, lighting designers, engineers, and other consultant team members to facilitate successful integration of their design efforts with ours. Collaborate, motivate, and communicate clearly and effectively with other team members. Foster team building and mentor less-experienced colleagues. Develop schematic design drawings for our various types of housing projects. Create technical detail sketches and recommend material selections for inclusion in construction drawings and specifications. Manage and develop construction documents with limited oversight. About You
A bachelor's in interior design from an accredited university required Actively pursuing or has achieved NCIDQ accreditation and licensure 8-12 years of experience in the Interior Design field Effective communication skills Extensive design portfolio, with Senior Living, Multi-family, Hospitality, or Affordable Housing experience. Creative and innovative thinker Excellent knowledge and practice in design software including but not limited to SketchUp and Revit, particularly with documentation. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Enscape software programs encouraged. Understands transition between conceptual development and practical detailing. Strong design leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise others Sets an example for team members through the spirit of cooperation. About Our Culture

The projected base salary for this full-time position is $102,000-$114,000 Hord Coplan Macht's salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual's education, experience, and skillsets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM's total compensation package for employees.
