Customer Service Rep
Schedule - Saturday - Wednesday 8:00am - 4:30p (off Thursday and Friday) Pay - $20-$25 due to weekend GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Southwest Traders, Inc. is a full-service distribution company delivering fresh, frozen, and dry products to national accounts, specialty ice cream & yogurt shops, juice & smoothie bars.
Fast paced Food Service Distributor is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Temecula, CA. office. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, organized, team player who is also willing and eager to learn. The ability to manage
multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative position include the following:
Obtaining and staying up to date with industry and product knowledge Paying attention to detail Answering a high volume of customer calls Effectively communicate with clients via phone and e-mail on a regular basis Record and enter client orders Remain organized and manage your time well Be creative when addressing and solving issues Regularly use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to communicate with clientele and company representatives alike ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Taking client calls, addressing client concerns, problem solving, and data entry Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and a positive experience Remain calm and friendly while speaking with clientele and Help clientele & Sales reps to resolve issues through communication with various WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1 year experience working in customer service or similar function Previous experience working in a office environment preferred Must have experience with high call, email, & text volumes Strong organizational and time management skills Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong telephone etiquette Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook Must type a minimum of 40 words per minute Must be flexible with overtime EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced education degree in relevant area of study preferred. Not required An equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in food distribution is acceptable
WORKING
CONDITIONS
Standard office conditions apply. May require occasional light lifting, bending, reaching and walking. Long hours spent at an office workstation in front of a computer monitor. Heavy phone calls both inbound and outbound and communicating regularly in both verbal and written form to SWT's clients, employees and managers alike.
