Technician
position available at our Corpus Christi, Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday from 7 AM - 4 PM, occasional weekends. Must be on-call two weeks out of the month. Some daily travel will be required within a 150-mile radius. Job Description
: This position is responsible for providing troubleshooting and high-quality repair service on power generation, gas, and diesel engines, and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) to respond to customer needs in a positive, safe, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. Qualifications: A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities: At least 2 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Electrical Power and Generator experience required. At least 2 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Gas and Diesel Engine experience required. At least 2 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) experience required. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with customers and employees in a professional manner. Must have own tools. Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level. Ability to work with limited supervision. Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, occasional Saturdays, and must be able to be on call. Power Generation Mechanic Certification is highly desired. Need a clean and valid driver's license.
