The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Employment Specialist is a key member of the ACT team, responsible for assisting individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment. This role supports clients using an integrated, person-centered approach, ensuring employment services align with the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model and the ACT model of care. The Employment Specialist collaborates with other ACT team members, community partners, and employers to promote vocational success and long-term recovery.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Two years in Vocational Rehabilitation or specialized employment services.
Licenses/Certification:
Must possess a state issued valid Indiana driver's license.
Preferred certifications:
IPS (Individual Placement and Support) certification. CPRP (Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner
First shift, Full time: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm with occasionally after-hours job coaching and meetings.
Salary based on experience.
