Trillium Staffing has a Direct hire opportunity for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. • Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. • Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. • Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. • Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. • Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.
Hours are M-T 7am-4:30pm and F 7am-11am. Starting pay is $30-35 an hour DOE.

Qualifications and Skills: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 3 plus years maintenance mechanic experience required • Building maintenance experience is a plus. • Experience in a trade school is a plus. • Knowledge and proficiency in trades of masonry, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry • Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds for certain positions. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
