Maintenance

Overview To provide cleaning services, indoor and outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

Empty all trash and-transport to dumpster

Sweep all hard floors daily and mop as needed

Wash all glass including door and panes as needed- surfaces daily

Dust and/or wash tables and kitchen area as needed

Clean restroom fixtures, floors and partitions daily

Disinfect restroom floors daily

Replace paper supplies and deodorize the restrooms as needed.

Order janitorial supplies with the permission of the Corps Officers

Strip, wax and buff floors as needed

Vacuum carpets as needed with offices and lounge area daily

Set up rooms for programs as needed

Maintain lights - minor repairs, light bulb change, painting,

Remove snow as needed and salt as needed

Maintain vehicles as needed and instructed by the Corps Officers

Drive to do pick-ups as requested

Help with heavy lifting as needed

Police outside grounds for trash and keep the exterior clean

Maintain the lawn as needed

Qualifications

The ability to do heavy lifting

A valid NY State Driver's License and the ability to pass any required testing for the operation of a 12-passenger

Possess working knowledge of tools and building maintenance

Experience with prior building maintenance
