YOUR DAY TO DAY : The Facilities Lead is an energetic and motivated individual whose main focus is to assist the Facilities Supervisor/ Manager in making sure that the work assignments get completed in a timely manner.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :

Assigns electricians, mechanics, plumbers, and HVAC technicians in maintenance work suited to their skills. Oversees the maintenance and repair of plant equipment consistent with the scheduling and production requirements. Requisitions replacement parts and materials and arranges for outside repairs as necessary. Directs emergency troubleshooting and repair for the assigned maintenance responsibility on a 24-hour basis as required. Analyzes mechanical and electrical drawings and interprets verbal or written instructions to provide team members with information necessary to initiate and to complete work assignments. Assists in the determination of cost estimates for installations and repairs of plant equipment. Assures proper and effective utilization of material and equipment and assumes responsibility for proper equipment maintenance and good housekeeping practices. Assists in training, developing, and motivating direct reports. Assures that each employee is formally trained in safety, which includes knowledge of hazards and protective measures required to prevent injury. Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE :

Must be capable of leading skilled workers. Must be familiar with state codes and regulations. 5 years’ experience in related field or vocational education in the trades. Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs. This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Salary Range: $29.00 - $35.00 / hour
