Position Summary
You are ...
Provide technical support and communication to both Quality Assurance, Engineering and Production departments. Complete training in formal QMS agendas; assist leadership and engineering with procedural review and updates when required.
What you'll do:
Have all quality systems updated with accurate and timely information on a per-job basis (e.g. SAP, Logs, Trello, planner). Review and respond to all emails related to jobs worked on. Ability to inspect bare boards & printed circuit board assemblies to IPC 610 Standards Complete all internal FAIR and AS9102 FAIR documentation when required Execute the verification of the PCB with the support of the written specifications (BOM, BMB, fabrication and assembly drawings and Readme) to guarantee acceptable quality standards. Execute In-Process and Final AOI on all required assemblies when required Verify for the placement (presence and polarity), solder application and overall manufacturing quality of the of the PCB assembly to the specific manufacturing standard Reject PCB and parts that do not fulfill the established levels of acceptance Obtain and maintain IPC certification for 610 standards Proficiency in NCRs, quality alerts, internal audit process, RMA, SCAR and CAPA system for root cause analysis. What you'll need:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum experience of 3 years in Electronic PCB Assembly Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control Excellent computers skills, including Micro Soft Excel, Word, and Outlook Knowledge of electronic components including website validation Knowledge of ISO concepts, such as Process Ownership, Risk Analysis and Risk Mitigation Excellent communication skills including the ability to read, understand all process procedures, and any other necessary documentation, such as specification sheet criteria. Work well as a team member Be able to work scheduled and extra hours and Saturdays, as required.
