A day in the life of a Sales Manager: Open and close retail store Assists both customers with customer service questions, handling escalated customer issues as needed and other departments with any issues and questions Oversees the cleanliness and presentation of the sales floor, posting of rebates, and accuracy of pricing Reviews department reports and sales orders, following up with sales associates as needed Motivates associates to achieve sales and warranty goals including coaching, training and directing staff in order to maintain enhance engagement, skill proficiency and productivity Follows up on customer surveys and online review as needed Ensures customer payments are collected timely by all team members Creates staff schedule and ensures store is properly staffed Conducts monthly and annual associate reviews as directed Identifies and implements process improvements Perform duties of a Sales Associate, including Assists customers to qualify needs and demonstrate merchandise using feature benefit formula Attends ongoing training sessions Explains purchase, warranty, and financing options Assists customers with questions Calculates the cost and payment due Completes sales order, including entering the order into NetSuite Resolves customer complaints and follows-up to ensure satisfaction Handles incoming phone calls quickly and courteously Makes follow up calls on existing quotes in a timely manner Follows sales order through to delivery or pick-up Positions Supervised:

Education and/or Experience:

Appliance sales experience Previous management experience preferred
