Job Description Summary
A Senior LOB Marketing Strategist at Wintrust leads cross-functional teams (from Marketing Managers and Content Strategists to Analytics and Channel Partners) to conceptualize and execute marketing strategies on both an enterprise and tailored line of business level based on opportunity and need. The Senior LOB Marketing Strategist leads in goal setting, performance analysis, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, but the role goes beyond research and planning - with an emphasis on creating and executing actionable strategic campaigns and annual plans that focus on testing, optimization, and iteration to constantly improve departmental effectiveness.
What You'll Do
Integrated strategic planning & cross functional alignment
Leads the strategy and team that executes and implements integrated, multi-channel, strategic marketing plans for the Line of Business that ladders up to the enterprise strategy.
Assists in the development of marketing plans that acquire, grow, and retain customers in support of the customer lifecycle and line of business goals and objectives.
Define and conceptualize enterprise-wide marketing strategies and annual plans that take into consideration both enterprise/omnibus and local-charter goals (in partnership with GTM managers).
Enterprise execution & stakeholder management
Serve as the key executive liaison between line of business leadership and the marketing department.
Manage and execute enterprise-wide, multi-channel (e.g. mix of digital and traditional) campaigns - includes developing creative/project briefs, establishing marketing mix, briefing teams, adeptly working within the project management platform (Workfront), evaluating creative, and deploying campaigns.
Communicate effectively with demonstrated ability to match message and channel with audience as well as demonstrate confidence and value when interfacing with senior leadership.
Act as a connecter across the business facilitating coordination between several departments across the company.
Reporting & evaluation
Partner with the marketing analytics team to build models and reporting tools used for business goal setting, performance analysis, and forecasting to be used by both GTM marketing managers and channel partners.
Provide clear and concise performance evaluations and recommendations to departmental, bank, and executive leadership. Identify opportunities for scalability and automation of marketing initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Team management & leadership
Lead a Line of Business team to drive alignment on business and marketing objectives.
Coach and develop teams of three to five team members in running effective meetings, executing a variety of projects, and providing insight-based marketing strategies.
Qualifications/Background
Expert in building holistic, business-shaping strategies and framing into achievable and measurable marketing/go-to-market plans.
Proven ability to influence and guide the LOB leadership team to align on objectives and deliver on marketing priorities and plans.
Deep understanding of the user journey through the funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle and their respective requirements on the marketing organization to meet goals.
Digitally savvy with a proven history of excellence in executing large-scale integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives with measurable results.
Ability to craft professional, concise, and compelling narratives with actionable recommendations/plans to departmental and bank leadership.
Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, etc.
Experience working in project management software (such as Workfront) is a plus.
Min 7-10 years' experience.
Preferred in-house marketing or agency experience.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience
