Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
Design Creation & Development Under the supervision of the lead designer, create visual content such as posters, flyers, social media graphics, and other digital assets to promote upcoming performances. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. Follow established workflows and file organization practices. Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
Software Use
Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to complete assignments and tasks. Prepare files for print and digital distribution with proper specifications. Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
Feedback & Revisions
Incorporate feedback from supervisor and others in the department to refine and improve designs. Make revisions quickly and efficiently while maintaining creative integrity. Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
Support & Miscellaneous Tasks
Contribute to the overall creative direction of marketing or communication strategies for the department. Potentially support photography, video editing, or animation projects as needed.

Position Summary
This student position reports to the Performing Arts Center's Lead Designer/Publications Manager and provides support for a variety of visual marketing needs including concert programs, event posters, social media graphics, and more.
Schedule is approximately 10-20 hours per week.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
A student studying graphic design is preferred, although students from other majors with appropriate experience will also be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Must be experienced with the Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
