Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all floors within our facilities are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors on a regular basis.
Strip, seal, wax, and buff floors as needed.
Clean and maintain floor surfaces, including tile, carpet, hardwood, and laminate.
Remove stains and spills promptly.
Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.
Inspect floors for damage and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed, including restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
