Our Global Supply Chain division is looking for a Subcontracts Management Specialist to enhance the programs, proposals, and business goals of the National Security Sector. This role involves comprehensive subcontract management activities, ensuring compliance with contract stipulations, company policies, and relevant regulations. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, managing agreements of varying types typically characterized by low to moderate value and risk. Interaction with various functional areas (e.g., program management, contracts, finance, etc.) will be essential to facilitate necessary processes within the assigned portfolio. You should be able to manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong attention to detail, whether working independently or as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities The responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to: supporting proposal efforts (e.g., negotiating NDAs and teaming agreements, preparing solicitation packages, evaluating subcontractor proposals, conducting price analyses, and negotiating terms); facilitating subcontract awards; and managing the post-award process (e.g., handling subcontract modifications, identifying risks, resolving issues, reporting internally, and closing out contracts). As you demonstrate proficiency and business acumen, you will have the opportunity to tackle more complex assignments and contribute to problem-solving on subcontracting issues. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with no prior experience. U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to clearly communicate statuses and issues to management, internal partners, and suppliers. Preferred Qualifications Preference for an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Experience with awarding and managing subcontracts within a government-approved purchasing system and knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements. Experience in negotiating pricing and contract terms. Familiarity with automated purchasing systems (preferably Deltek Costpoint and iValua). Active Security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
