Estimator - Mitigation and Restoration

Job Description

We are looking to bring our estimating in house (Currently Contract this role with a 3rd party). The right candidate will help us build our team from the ground up. Initial role will be an estimator but there will be opportunity to grow into a team lead type of role.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections for water, fire, mold, and storm damage.

Create detailed Xactimate estimates (or equivalent) for restoration projects.

Collaborate with project managers and insurance adjusters.

Track changes in job scope and manage supplements.

Ensure estimates align with industry pricing standards and compliance.

Build templates to create a more efficient work flow.

Required Skills & Certifications

Proficiency in

Xactimate , Symbility, or other estimating tools.

Familiarity with

IICRC standards

(WRT, ASD, AMRT ).

Strong knowledge of insurance billing practices.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Comfortable in fast-paced, field-based environments.
