Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control/Stockroom Lead to oversee our inventory and stockroom operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Your responsibilities are - but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices. Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels based on demand and storage capacity. Ensure inventory is always accurate using our WMS (Warehouse management system) Lead the cycle count process and be able to explain inventory discrepancies (if any), identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions

Stockroom Oversight:

Manage the organization and workflow of the stockroom. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, train, and develop stockroom staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving operational goals. Cross departmental collaboration: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure stock availability and inventory needs

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Implement processes to streamline inventory and stockroom management processes.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory and stock management. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the stockroom and surrounding areas.

Key Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or stockroom management, preferably in a distribution center environment. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management (3-5 years) Proficiency in inventory management software and systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and passion for precision Strong sense of ownership and accountability Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods. Additional information :
