Beyond connecting customers to their favorite entertainment, our Video Services team delivers an award-winning TV experience to millions of customers across DISH TV and Sling TV platforms. Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of a balanced and empowered product team, you will partner and share ownership of your product area with a product manager and tech lead with the responsibility for assuring the usability of your product and how customers experience the value provided by that product.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand users behaviors and needs through data and qualitative research

Refine and evolve the user experience of subscription management and retention initiatives

Lead qualitative user research to gather insights and act on them

Develop information architectures, user and task flows, interaction design, and UI

Lead design of prototypes and usability testing of those prototypes

Lead documentation and maintenance of prototypes

Give and receive feedback to continually raise the bar for quality

Advocate for end-users throughout the product development lifecycle and align solutions with their needs

Contribute to a growing design system and library of components that operationalize design work to ensure consistency in execution and outcomes

Take pride in listening, communicating, and collaborating exceptionally well

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in UX, Interaction Design, HCI or similar from a four-year college or university or certification and or relevant work experience or a combination of education and relevant work experience

At least 3-6 years experience as a UX, Product Designer, or similar role

Real-world experience applying principles of agile, Design Thinking, and/or User-Centered Design processes and methods to the product development life-cycle

Pay TV or streaming services experience preferred

Previous Retention product area experience preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant experience shipping products on web product teams

End-to-end, applied experience in UX and product design best-practices

Excellent design and research skills combined with a desire to learn and iterate on your skills and work

Self-motivated, disciplined, with a can-do and helpful attitude - able to journey into ambiguous spaces, make sense out of chaos, and emerge with insights

An intuitive eye for spotting unmet customer needs

Excellent communication skills - engaging and influencing a variety of audiences

Experience with design and AI tools, such as Figma

Flexible in your practice and process of design, adaptive to change

Proactive in seeking out information and industry trends to anticipate the needs of the business and customer

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
