If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for a reliable and dedicated Indumak Machine Operator to join our team and play a key role in our packaging and filling processes.
What You'll Do:
Operate Indumak Machines: Run machines that fill bags, bottles, and containers with products, ensuring all products are accurately packaged. Adjust and Troubleshoot: Adjust machine settings to ensure high-quality packaging and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues when they arise. Maintain Equipment: Clean, maintain, and perform routine checks on machinery to ensure it operates efficiently. Monitor Production: Keep a close eye on the production line, removing defective products and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Physical Activity: You'll be lifting, moving, and sorting products (up to 50 lbs) regularly-so being physically active is a big part of the job. Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary production records, paperwork, and safety logs. Ensure Safety and Quality: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety (HACCP) and plant safety procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. What We're Looking For:
Ability to Lift: You'll need to move and handle up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Attention to Detail: Ability to read production orders, follow detailed instructions, and ensure product quality. Mathematical Skills: Comfortably add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and decimals. Team Player: A proactive approach to safety and teamwork is essential. You'll be keeping the area clean and reporting any hazards. Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of troubleshooting machinery, or a willingness to learn. Experience: Previous experience in machine operation or a manufacturing setting. Availability to work a schedule of 7AM-7PM Monday-Friday plus overtime during harvest season.
