The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a strategic executive responsible for leading the growth and expansion efforts of a healthcare organization specializing in workers' compensation patients. This role oversees business development, marketing and network management, to drive patient volume, enhance market share, and improve payer relationships. The CGO leads a cross-functional team, including Business Developers, Marketing and Network Management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring alignment between business growth strategies, provider participation in Medical Provider Networks (MPNs), and long-term organizational objectives. A strong emphasis is placed on data-driven decision-making, performance measurement, and continuous improvement to ensure scalable, sustainable growth.

What you will do:
Strategic Growth Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the company that combines organic and de novo growth opportunities to expand the company's footprint within and outside California as well as opportunities to partner with other organizations for more innovative growth opportunities. Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven growth strategy each of the Company's clinic locations that is aligned with the organization's mission and financial goals to achieve at least 10% year over year same store growth at each clinic location. Leverage market data, referral trends, and utilization patterns to guide expansion plans, outreach efforts, and strategic partnerships. Regularly analyze internal and external data to monitor market shifts, identify new opportunities, and inform leadership decision-making. Develop and execute a strategy to diversify the company's patient acquisition strategy. Business Development & Marketing Oversight
Lead the Business Development team to expand referral sources and strengthen client relationships, using performance analytics and CRM data to drive activities and measure success. Oversee the Marketing Manager in planning and executing integrated marketing strategies, supported by analytics, campaign performance data, and digital marketing metrics. Utilize data dashboards and KPIs to track campaign ROI, lead generation, and conversion rates; adjust tactics accordingly. Network Management Oversight
Supervise the Director of Network Management to maintain high levels of provider participation in MPNs and resolve network-related issues. Implement tools and reporting processes to track provider inclusion, network gaps, complaint resolution timelines, and compliance risks. Develop and execute a plan to grow the network management team. Use payer and MPN data to identify potential areas for network growth or optimization. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for team members across all growth functions. Foster a culture of data literacy and performance measurement across departments. Work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Clinical teams to ensure growth initiatives are feasible, measurable, and compliant. Reporting & Accountability
Define, track, and regularly report on growth-related KPIs, including referral pipeline health, MPN participation metrics, marketing ROI, and acquisition impact. Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility to executive leadership on growth performance and forecasting. Use predictive analytics and historical data to support strategic planning and investment decisions. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field required; Master's degree (MBA, MHA) preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, marketing, or strategic growth within the healthcare sector Experience in managing the sales and marketing function for multi-site physician practices is essential Experience in workers' compensation or occupational health is preferred. Deeply data-driven mindset with the ability to turn analytics into strategic action. Proficiency in data analysis tools, dashboards, CRMs, and business intelligence platforms. Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize complex data into executive-level insights. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward measurable growth objectives. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Solid understanding of MPN dynamics, payer relationships, and healthcare compliance requirements. Willingness to travel as needed to practice locations, referral partners, and industry events. High integrity, accountability, and commitment to data transparency and ethical leadership. Compensation Range:
$200,000 to $350,000 Annually
