Location: Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Facility in Orchard Park, NY

Shift: Part-Time, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, every other weekend

Rate: $17.10/hr.

Job Description:

Join our team as a Cook at Orchard Brook. Bring your culinary skills to a rewarding role where you’ll prepare nutritious meals that make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.

Menu Execution: Follow menus and recipes to ensure consistency, flavor, and nutritional value.

Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations in the kitchen.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dietary staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.

Special Diets: Accommodate residents’ dietary restrictions and preferences.

Qualifications:

Experience as a cook in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting (preferred).

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Passion for creating meals that promote health and wellness.
