Job purpose

To provide customers accurate and timely information regarding the status of their merchandise while working with FLS associates and outside vendors to expedite any outstanding issues

Qualifications

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Monitors all line items ordered and confirms lead time shipping dates from vendors Research all items that are unacknowledged by communicating with each vendor Monitors all line items ordered and confirms pieces have been received by FLS within lead-times Communicate with customers any confirmed delay of product Update FLS system with any confirmed delay by the vendor Work to resolve issues with customer regarding delays or unexpected occurrences Work with vendors to expedite shipping of product or facilitate alternatives for customers Work with Sales Associates to resolve issues created by delays, discontinued product, etc... Must have the ability to administer large accounts/projects while providing support for all customer inquiries Other duties assigned by supervisor. Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement. Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours. Perform various related duties as required. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The job duties are not limited to the items as described above, duties can be added or changed at any given time. Competencies

Accountability Communication Customer Focus Integrity Required Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associates Degree with a focus in business administration. One year customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
