Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager M&A to support the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) initiatives within our Development department for Latin America. This short-term position (6 months) will be responsible for identifying inorganic growth opportunities, valuing potential acquisition targets, and developing acquisition strategies. The STA will focus on structuring deals that leverage both corporate capital and franchise models. Additionally, the role will support the integration process of acquired entities to ensure successful alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Identify Growth Opportunities:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential inorganic growth opportunities in the Latin American region, generate a pipeline of targets within the defined markets. Valuation & Financial Analysis:

Perform initial financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence on acquisition prospects, ensuring a thorough assessment of their strategic and financial compatibility. Develop Acquisition Strategies:

Create and propose tailored acquisition strategies, considering options like direct acquisitions/ JV's or franchise expansion. Cross-Functional Risk Assessment:

Assess risks and implications of potential transactions across key business areas, including Legal, Development, Operations, and Marketing. Integration Planning:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop post-acquisition integration strategies and ensure smooth operational transitions. Stakeholder Communication:

Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing key findings and strategic recommendations. Support Negotiations:

Assist in negotiations by working closely with legal, finance, global, and operational teams to structure and execute deals if needed. Qualifications:

Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or strategy roles within a multinational environment. Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes. Knowledge of the Latin American market and experience working across multiple countries in the region preferred. Strong strategic insight and the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior leadership. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English, Proficiency in Spanish a plus. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus). Key Competencies:
