What We Are Looking For:
Join a Federal Contract Supporting the OUSD(C) Distributed Learning Program
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) Distributed Learning Program. This role focuses on developing high-quality distributed learning content, providing subject matter expertise in DoD financial management, and ensuring day-to-day responsiveness to client needs.
Ideal candidates will bring at least three years of relevant experience in DoD financial management, instructional systems design, or related areas, combined with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering results in a fast-paced federal environment.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship (Required)
Bachelor’s degree (Required)
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in:
DoD financial management, accounting, auditing, or PPBE processes
Instructional systems design, adult learning, or distributed learning solutions
Proficient knowledge of:
Department of Defense organizational structure and OUSD(Comptroller) functions
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Distributed learning applications and technical writing
Experience with:
Developing course materials and applying adult learning principles
Process mapping and distributed learning course delivery
DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR)
PPBE and Financial Management Regulations
Performance metrics, workshop facilitation, and focus groups
Preferred Certifications:
CDFM, CGFM, CPA, CMA, or CISA
Must live in greater Washington D.C. region: Virginia, the District, or Maryland
Skills:
Support the design, development, and quality review of distributed learning courses
Analyze financial management content for accuracy and alignment with DoD policies
Facilitate working sessions and focus groups with stakeholders
Provide day-to-day responsiveness to client requests and deliverables
Track and monitor task progress, ensuring deadlines are met
Preferred:
Certifications - CDFM, CGFM, CPA, CMA, or CISA
Secret Clearance
