A vibrant community of passionate professionals! Your Role as a Maintenance Mechanic Safely operate and maintain various systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and more. Work independently within assigned time frames while collaborating with your supervisor. Utilize your skills in auto mechanics, carpentry, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Keep accurate records of work performed and report daily to your supervisor. Conduct control maintenance and building repairs efficiently. Stay informed about regulatory standards and facility systems. Qualifications We Seek Preferred licensing in a specialty field such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. Valid driver's license may be required. High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction is required; healthcare experience is a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Capacity to lift heavy objects (minimum of 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout your shift. Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding, and adapt to various physical positions as necessary. Experience handling hazardous materials safely. Why Encompass Health?
