This position plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, provide answers to their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions for their requirements. Your goal is to promptly resolve any customer concerns, ensuring maximum client satisfaction, while staying well-informed about product features and maintaining the high standards of product presentation and store environment.
The selected individual will work within a 10-mile radius of Store #1959, located at 731 Rolling Creek Drive, New Albany IN 47150. This is a part-time position with a starting pay rate of $14/hour.
In this role, you will have contact with customers, some of whom may be minors, and access to cash, payment methods, personal information, and store merchandise. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary for the safety of our customers, staff, and the overall integrity of our operations.

Build trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions and adhere to policies and procedures. Meet and strive to exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain precise records of work orders and formulas. Select appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and set up product displays. Clean store equipment as required. Load and unload delivery trucks. Assist with deliveries as needed. Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock, presentable condition. Stay informed about product offerings and discuss available options with customers. Comply with inventory control procedures. Suggest ways to improve sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Previous experience selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
