About the Role
The company is searching for an exceptional Vice President of Marketing and Sales Strategy who will spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of a go-to-market plan for an innovative DNA-based combination therapy. This crucial executive role focuses on the upcoming U.S. commercial launch of a product currently seeking approval for use in a rare disease. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and leading a dynamic marketing and sales team, fostering disease awareness, and ensuring the successful uptake of the product in the U.S. market.
The successful applicant will possess deep commercial expertise in both large pharmaceutical and biotech settings, with recent launch experience and a solid foundation in marketing and sales. They will be key in establishing relationships with critical stakeholders while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and representing the company at important industry events.
To be considered, candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree (an MBA or advanced degree is preferred) and have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 5 years in senior sales and marketing leadership roles. A proven history of successful U.S. commercial launches, particularly in the rare disease or innovative therapy arena, is essential.
