About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing to be a strategic leader in shaping the university's narrative and future direction. This pivotal leadership role requires a visionary professional with extensive experience in institutional or corporate marketing and communications, ideally within a complex organization. You will provide comprehensive leadership in all communications and marketing initiatives, focusing on crafting a compelling, inclusive, and diverse institutional narrative.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary strategic communications advisor to the President.
Lead and inspire a high-performing team committed to excellence.
Oversee critical initiatives such as fundraising campaigns and student retention strategies.
Manage crisis communication effectively and engage stakeholders with transparency.
Foster a creative and collaborative culture within the department.
Utilize data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive results.
We seek candidates with at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic communications and marketing, and an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
