Stories of Immigrants - Washington Metropolitan Area Join our team in launching the Allies Network Hub, a new program that mobilizes community members to support immigrant neighbors through advocacy training, volunteer connections, cultural education workshops, and collective action opportunities. Location:

Primarily remote. May include optional in-person activities if scheduled.

Candidates based in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area preferred. Key Responsibilities Program Support (40%) Assist with participant recruitment and onboarding Support day-to-day operations of the Allies Network Hub Help coordinate with immigrant-serving partner organizations Track program metrics and participant engagement Community Building (30%) Help manage Circle.so online community platform Support coordination of bi-monthly advocate gatherings (virtual and occasional in-person) Connect volunteers with meaningful service opportunities Foster peer support among network members Education & Training Support (20%) Assist with immigration education workshops Help coordinate guest speakers and subject matter experts Develop resources on immigration policy and advocacy Support Immigration Awareness Training graduates Communications (10%) Create content highlighting immigrant stories Draft program updates and newsletters Document program activities and impact Ideal Candidate Passion for immigrant rights and social justice Interest in community organizing or volunteer coordination Strong cross-cultural communication skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required Undergraduate or graduate student in Social Work, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field Comfortable working independently in remote environment What You'll Gain Direct experience in nonprofit program development Network with immigration advocates and service providers Professional mentorship from nonprofit leaders Portfolio of community organizing work Letter of recommendation Deep understanding of immigration advocacy landscape Time Commitment:
