This role is based in New York City.
This position offers a competitive compensation package of $70,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus additional commission opportunities.

Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will report to the Commercial Director for Real Estate Events. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth and manage accounts for sponsors. Your expertise may also be utilized for other events within the Global Finance vertical as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
Secure sponsorship and exhibition revenues aligned with portfolio needs and personal targets
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of forecasted opportunities
New Business Development
Identify and qualify strategic selling opportunities
Target key markets and clients for business expansion
Relationship Management
Develop and nurture key accounts and existing client relationships
Identify and convert cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
Proposal Creation
Craft high-quality proposals and contracts to facilitate the sales process
Provide innovative solutions based on a deep understanding of event inventory
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner effectively with internal Marketing, Operations, and Production teams
Ensure accurate delivery of client and event requirements
Market Expertise
Build a comprehensive understanding of the Real Estate market
Stay informed about clients and competitors in the industry
Brand Representation
Attend key competitor events to showcase our brand
Build valuable connections within the industry

Qualifications: Qualifications
Previous Experience
2-4 years of experience in specialized exhibitions (SpEx), media, B2B, or relevant industry sales
Proven track record in implementing consultative sales processes, handling complex briefs, and providing creative solutions
Experience in conducting comprehensive mapping exercises for products, client bases, and competitive landscapes
Demonstrated ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders, with a focus on cross-selling and up-selling to acquire new business and grow existing accounts
Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems, with experience in leading team efforts to maintain data integrity
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Outstanding prioritization skills, coupled with the foresight to anticipate challenges and the tenacity to overcome obstacles
