Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

Conducts evaluation of start-up and in-process samples using precision metrology instruments, including calipers, CMM's, microscopes, micrometers, and optical comparators. Interprets customer blueprints, specifications and validations to determine product acceptance or rejection criteria. Assists the Quality Manager in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Notifies the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer of non-conforming products or processes and initiates Material Review Reports (MRRs) as required. Participates in root cause analysis and supports the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process, product, and customer-related issues. Collaborate with Quality and Production departments to audit injection molding and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Supports Quality Inspectors by providing guidance on suspect materials found on the production floor to ensure alignment with customer and QMS requirements. Utilizes inspection equipment and tools effectively to verify product conformance. Performs routine process audits to monitor and maintain quality standards. Executes additional responsibilities and tasks assigned by management What we're looking for:
Technical degree in quality or Equivalent Experience 4+ years' experience (2 years of automotive preferred) Good written and verbal communication skills Good understanding of GD&T Computer literate including software programs Analytical/problem-solving capabilities Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented Ability to take on a leadership role Works well under pressure Ability to work independently as well as in teams Ability to build/encourage teamwork and cooperation within work groups Possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately Strong team player, friendly, patient Dependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative Able to work with a diverse group of people
