UX Content Strategist/Designer

Our large insurance client is seeking a UX Content Strategist/Designer to join their team for the next 6 months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in New York City or fully remote. Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned UX Content Designer/Strategist to lead the development of content strategies that enhance digital product experiences. This role focuses on crafting meaningful, user-centered content that aligns with business goals and brand voice, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and engineering. Top Must Have Skills: 6+ years in content strategy for digital platforms (web, app, email) Expertise in UX content strategy, design thinking, and human-centered design Strong portfolio demonstrating IA, content audits, navigation, and UX writing Proficiency in UX copywriting, brand tone, and microcopy guidelines Familiarity with SEO, content tagging, analytics, and performance metrics Additional Qualifications: Deep understanding of information architecture and taxonomy creation Experience using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Miro Strong analytical skills to interpret user research and data Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills Agile and iterative product development experience Responsibilities: Define and execute content strategies that improve user experience and meet business objectives Develop content plans, models, and taxonomies; contribute to IA and navigation decisions Create compelling, user-appropriate content for digital interfaces and experiences Uphold and evolve brand voice and tone across all touchpoints Collaborate with UX, research, and product teams to deliver cohesive experiences Use data and feedback to measure content effectiveness and iterate accordingly Advocate for content's role in building meaningful user relationships Benefits: Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
