High Jump
High Jump is seeking an organized, community-minded individual to join our Programs team as the
Program Associate. This new role supports three functional areas: recruiting and enrolling
new students, strengthening relationships and resources for program alumni, and
supporting projects related to the operation of High Jump's programming portfolio.
This is a collaborative role that interacts with students, families, staff, and partners-and is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing behind-the-scenes systems with meaningful, people-facing work. The role will report directly to the Chief Programs Officer with shared supervision from program directors, and will also work closely with theprogram staff on an array of projects and initiatives.
Through this role, we envision our candidate will be able to contribute meaningfully to the success of our organization and develop a broad set of skills and experiences that can accelerate their own career growth.
POSITION STATUS: This is a full-time position in a hybrid work environment. Annual salary range of $50,000 - $55,000, based on experience and credentials. Our anticipated start date is: September 15, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS: College Degree required Previous employment or significant volunteer experience in Education preferred Spanish Language Proficiency preferred
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support for Admissions/Enrollment
Data Management to support Community Outreach and School Recruiting visits Participate in (or conduct) some Recruiting Visits at CPS Elementary Schools Support the Auditing of Student Application Files Support general communication with applicants and parents Maintain and Update Elementary School Contacts lists Support Recruitment Events: Assist in preparing for recruitment fairs, open houses, or school outreach events. Assist in coordinating student interviews
Support for Alumni Programming
Supporting the Management of Alumni Data Supporting efforts around High School Selection Staffing events to support Alumni Support communication with alumni Research other programmatic support for our alumni
Support for other administrative functions within High Jump Programming
Work with the CPO on topics including: Organizational Growth Strategies, Developing Program Partnerships, and supporting collaborative projects across the organization Support other members of the Program team on projects as they arise, and be responsive to other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Growth Mindset Collaborative approach and ability to work well in teams Strong Communication and writing skills Ability to stay organized with multiple projects and priorities Self-starter with the ability to work independently Attention to Detail (Data Entry, Correspondence, etc) Proficiency with technology, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Ability to learn to use database software like Salesforce

Will involve periodic work on Saturdays from September through May and some evenings throughout the year.
