Position Specific Description
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Technical Sales Operations Specialist to support our dynamic Technical Sales team. In this pivotal role, you'll help streamline processes, track customer engagements, coordinate meetings and logistics, and create high-quality materials that empower our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Process Management
:
Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action items
Maintain calendars, action trackers, and deadlines to keep the sales team aligned and efficient
Document and improve sales processes for greater consistency and productivity
Customer Engagement Tracking:
Monitor customer interactions, proposals, and deal statuses in CRM systems or engagement trackers
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on pipeline health and key sales activities
Dashboard & Reporting:
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales KPIs, proposal metrics, and customer engagement insights
Analyze data trends and prepare actionable summaries for leadership
Presentation & Materials Support:
Create, edit, and refine PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and technical sales collateral
Support the technical sales team in preparing high-quality visuals and documentation for customer meetings and executive briefings
Proposal Coordination:
Assist with compiling, formatting, and submitting proposals, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customer requirements
Logistics & Coordination:
Coordinate travel and logistics for customer meetings, conferences, and team events
Support planning and execution of internal workshops and training sessions
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a key liaison between technical sales, analytics, business development, and other internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
3+ years of experience in sales operations, technical sales support, business operations, or a similar role, preferably within the energy, technology, or engineering sectors
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data management
Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging materials
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach

The job is responsible for supporting the team with understanding customer needs, identifying new customers, researching and analyzing public information, and applying business strategies to help make strategic decisions. This role develops materials for originators and leaders on market intelligence, customer insights, and strategic direction to support origination needs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Systematic research and data gathering from company disclosures and reports; processing and managing data outputs
Maintain proper data management practices to organze collected research
Use collected data to drive new analytical tools an methodologies to support the origination team's mission
Actively seek out potential new sources of data for integration, both internal and external
Produce thought leadership and/or analytical material for wider team
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
