Power-Flo Technologies is a leading distributor of electrical equipment and is seeking an Entry Level Account Manager to join our team. Our fast-growing family of companies consist of distributors, fabricators, manufacturers and motor and pump repair firms serving the New York metropolitan, New England, and Upstate New York areas.
We are currently seeking a reliable, results-driven individual that is highly motivated with a strong work ethic to focus on MRO and OEM sales in the New York Metro area. Will provide 3-month+ hands-on training for the right candidate prior to transitioning to the field.
Territory: NY Metro, Long Island, and Westchester
Entry Level Account Manager Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and nurture relationships with clients and maximize sales opportunities.
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to provide tailored solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Target Account Planning and Execution.
Generate and develop new business to increase revenue, through prospecting activities, including cold calling.
Effectively connect ongoing account management activities including quotations, pricing, delivery, service and new product and promotional releases.
Identify potential cross selling opportunities.
Frequent sales visits and communication with clients.
Assist clients with projects and engineered solutions.
Negotiate with suppliers and close deals with customers.
Track sales activities and customer interactions.
Personal development. Sales training and product knowledge.
Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
Attend conferences and trade shows.
All other duties as assigned from time to time.

Commitment to quality
Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel extensively, including driving to client locations and attending off-site meetings.
The role involves a significant amount of walking, standing, and potentially carrying promotional materials or product samples.
Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, computer mouse, adding machine, laptop, and telephone for prolonged periods of time
$48,000 salary + bonus/commission package potential
