Who We Are Looking For:
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for our senior living community. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and has prior experience working in senior living, healthcare, or hospital settings. This role is key to ensuring our residents live in a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and apartments
Prepare resident apartments for move-in (make-ready) including painting, patching, and minor repairs
Conduct daily inspections of mechanical rooms, HVAC systems, and common areas
Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests
Ensure compliance with safety codes, OSHA regulations, and facility policies
Assist with grounds maintenance, seasonal tasks, and preventative maintenance schedules
Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and vendors
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a senior living facility, hospital, or similar healthcare environment required
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC preferred
Make-ready/turnover experience strongly preferred
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to be on-call for emergency maintenance as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must pass background check and drug screening
