Now Hiring Operations Manager

Essential Functions: This position requires that the employee perform all essential duties as assigned by the Branch Manager of Klumb Lumber & Forest Products, Inc. which shall include the following: Oversee daily inbound (receiving) and outbound (picking and shipping) operations to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and meet customer delivery expectations. Supervise, train, and schedule hourly warehouse associates and CDL drivers. Ensure compliance with safety standards, vehicle maintenance schedules, and DOT regulations. Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with inventory control for accuracy. Set clear performance expectations and hold team accountable to safety and productivity metrics. Foster a positive and respectful work environment that encourages teamwork and communication. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams. Responsible for OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and accident investigations. Act as a problem solver for business challenges, operational inefficiencies, or employee-related issues. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize branch operations. Job Requirements:

Proven track record in operations within the building materials or distribution industries, knowledge of DMSI Agility preferred. Experience managing both hourly warehouse staff and CDL drivers. Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA safety standards, and fleet dispatch. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of building and developing a safety culture and high-performing teams. Problem solver, able to quickly solve issues, and offer improvement ideas. Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Regular and punctual attendance and ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary. Benefits:
