is looking for a
Service Compressed Air and Lift Equipment Technician
for our dealerships in the Triangle area. Service Compressed Air and Lift Equipment Technicians are primarily responsible for regular maintenance, repairs, and inspection of lift equipment to ensure its safety and optimal functionality.
Their daily duties and responsibilities include:
Performing regular inspections of lift equipment, air and vacuum systems, and related machinery to ensure they are functioning properly
Diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues in the lift equipment and air and vacuum systems.
Carrying out necessary repairs or replacements of malfunctioning parts
Install compressed air, vacuum systems, and related machinery
Install the lift equipment.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication of parts, welding, and fabrication
Maintaining detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work
Ensuring all work done adheres to safety regulations and standards
Providing technical advice and recommendations for lift equipment operation and maintenance
Training others on the proper use and maintenance of lift equipment
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in lift equipment servicing and repair
Ordering necessary spare parts and supplies as needed
Help facilities technicians
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Lift Equipment Technician or similar role
Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Experience driving the forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
Knowledge of hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems
Ability to read and understand technical manuals
Ability to travel or work outside regular hours up to 4 weeks per year.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift heavy machinery
High school diploma or equivalent; Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is
