Reporting to: Director, Brand Marketing

The Role:

Lumens is seeking a strategic, creative, and culturally fluent Social Content Manager to lead our brand presence across organic and paid social media channels.

The Social Media Content Manager will play a central role in shaping how Lumens shows up on social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter). Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this individual will lead social content strategy, oversee daily execution, and manage community engagement, performance reporting, and creative briefings for organic and paid social campaigns. The role will also oversee a Marketing Associate who supports influencer outreach, reporting, and social admin tasks. They'll work collaboratively with our Influencer Lead and Integrated Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a sharp editorial sensibility and deep fluency in digital culture-someone who understands what makes content resonate, entertain, convert, and build long-term brand equity in the design space.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Strategy & Execution

Own and manage the multi-platform social calendar aligned with brand storytelling, seasonal priorities, and product campaigns Develop and publish platform-native content using in-app tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Rush); Figma or design knowledge is a plus Lead creative briefings for organic and paid social assets and collaborate with performance marketing on ongoing optimization Brief and edit social copy that is consistent with Lumens' tone of voice and refined aesthetic Community Engagement & Influencer Collaboration

Actively engage with our social community-building relationships, responding to comments, and sparking meaningful conversation Flag and bolster UGC and influencer content opportunities that aligns with brand standards Manage and mentor a Marketing Associate responsible for influencer communications, community monitoring, and reporting Performance Reporting & Optimization

Track performance across all platforms monthly, surfacing insights and making recommendations for optimization Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to align on KPIs, testing strategies, and audience targeting Maintain a test-and-learn approach to content types, publishing cadence, and platform prioritization Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with creative, merchandising, site, and PR teams to align messaging and creative across all key launches and campaigns Serve as the point person for all things social-ensuring timelines, approvals, and deliverables are managed with precision Qualifications:

Technical Skills

3-5 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing Proficiency in video and design tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Rush; Figma experience a plus Strong understanding of social metrics and content performance tracking Experience briefing and optimizing creative for organic and paid social campaigns Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and social content planning tools (Dash a plus) Soft Skills

Editorial sensibility and a refined eye for visual storytelling in the interior space Deep understanding of trends and platform behavior across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone by platform Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once Collaborative mindset with an eagerness to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team Interest in interior design, architecture and design product

Location: Bay Area preferred / Remote (California-based candidates only)

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus
