DDDS Consultative Medical Examiner
who provides specialized consultative services in otolaryngology, audiology, or vision to DDDS for disability determinations. Reviews medical records and diagnostic reports, evaluates the severity of hearing, speech, or vision impairments, and advises adjudicator staff per Social Security regulations. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret specialty-specific medical records. Assess severity and impact of hearing, speech, or vision impairments. Provide expert consultation to DDDS staff. Attend quarterly meetings. Ensure compliance with DDDS/federal guidelines. Requirements Qualifications: Education:
Advanced degree (MD, DO, AuD, PhD, or equivalent) in
Otolaryngology, Audiology, Vision Sciences , or a related specialty. Licensure/Certifications: Current, unrestricted license in your medical specialty (any state). Licensed to conduct business in Washington State. Experience: 2+ years of post-graduate specialty experience. 5+ years of DDDS consultation experience (preferred). Additional Requirements:
