Current Openings: Level I Fire Alarm Technician • 6 months to 2 years of experience in commercial fire alarm installation • Able to pull cable through J-hooks, bridle rings, and conduit • Assist with mounting and terminating devices: strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, horns • Basic understanding of Ohm meter usage • Exposure to testing procedures and NFPA code is a plus • Willingness to learn under guidance from experienced technicians Level II Fire Alarm Technician • 2 to 4 years of verifiable experience in fire alarm system installation • Must hold or qualify for a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) • Familiar with blueprints and device layout; can identify cable paths • Capable of installing and terminating duct detectors, initiating and notification appliances • Some exposure to control panel wiring, testing, and troubleshooting • Able to provide material lists and daily job documentation • Understanding of NFPA 72 standards and local AHJ requirements Level III Fire Alarm Technician • 5+ years of commercial fire alarm experience • Active FAL required • Lead technician-level capability, able to manage small to mid-sized crews • Proficient in panel terminations, system programming, and functional testing • Expert in fire alarm signaling systems and various detection methods (smoke, heat, aspiration, etc.) • Skilled in documentation for acceptance testing, system maintenance, and project closeout • Familiar with testing and verification of signal transmission, voltage drop, load calculations, and NFPA-compliant wiring practices
