What you will do :
Ferroglobe has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a motivated Sales Manager. As a key member of our energetic sales team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients within a specific territory. Your mission will be to manage the entire sales journey, from initial lead to final payment, by building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with our customers. Our primary products include Silicon Metal, silicon-based alloys such as Ferrosilicon and Foundry Products, Silica Fume, and by-products. Lead-to-Cash Management: Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation, contract negotiations to revenue recognition for customers in the assigned region. Commercial Strategy Execution: Implement and execute commercial strategy to meet business objectives. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with portfolio accounts. Regularly engage with clients to adapt to market fluctuations and understand evolving needs. Commercial offers and contract negotiation: Send commercial offers to customers according to the guidelines from the VP Commercial and Product directors, ensuring that the correct commercial and legal conditions are met. Negotiate deals and develop offers tailored to customer needs, based on product specification, price, delivery conditions, payment conditions etc. After-Sales Coordination: Ensure smooth after-sales service and coordinate the resolution of customer claims in collaboration with internal teams. Internal communication and interaction across functions to promote "one Ferroglobe": Regular Interactions with Product Managers, S&OP, Finance, Legal, Customer service, Operations etc. to support contract execution and enforce customer awareness. Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence and share insights with the broader sales team to support strategic planning. Conduct regular analysis of the market to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Forecasting and S&OP participation: Actively use tools like HubSpot and S&OP to forecast sales, track customer interactions, and monitor contractual performance. Account Planning: Develop strategic account plans for key customers in the portfolio. Commercial Excellence: Support commercial excellence initiatives e.g. effective customer creation processes in accordance with the Ferroglobe code of conduct, ensuring onboarding. Leverage digital tools to enhance sales effectiveness and customer engagement. Commercial Excellence Development: Assist the VP Commercial with development of commercial excellence initiatives like our HubSpot CRM. Weekly and Monthly price controls: Prepare and distribute weekly pricing guidelines per product group as approved by VP commercial. Prepare the monthly CRU monthly price file for approval by the Commercial VP, in accordance with long term contractual agreements. What we seek:
Technical degree in Engineering, Chemistry/Polymers or Chemical Engineering OR Business Degree. 5+ years of technical sales or sales related experience ideally in ferroalloys, silicon and silica fume to downstream industries (steel, foundry, aluminum, construction, chemicals, ...). Strong background using CRM Systems (HubSpot Ideal) Demonstrated experience managing existing business (negotiation, price management, issue resolution) Track record of hunting for and converting sales opportunities a plus Demonstrate high levels of motivation and deliver outstanding sales results. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Are Required. Multilingual is a plus (Spanish, French, German) but not required. Someone Willing to travel around 40% Working Environment:
