Your Day at Lowe's In this role, you will greet customers as they enter Lowe's and assist them in finding the right products and services to match their home improvement needs. Your tasks will include interacting with customers, helping them locate merchandise, processing orders, and ensuring that all customer queries are addressed. Responsibilities may vary based on the department in which you work. Customer Support Associates may be placed in various departments, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Plumbing, and more, depending on hiring needs and individual skill sets. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service. Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise. Restock shelves by replenishing supplies where necessary. Ensure accurate processing of orders and deliveries. Cross-train in different store areas to enhance customer service. Prepare merchandise as required based on customer needs (e.g., mixing paint, cutting wood). Guide customers through shopping or checkout processes. Complete other assigned duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience using a computer for basic tasks. 6 months of experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets). Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. Able to stand, sit, and perform other activities as needed for the job. Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or more with assistance. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of experience in retail or customer service. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Certification in trades related to your department. Travel Requirements This role typically does not involve regular travel, but may require occasional trips for training or meetings.
