We are seeking a high level Maintenance Mechanic to repair, troubleshoot, and install mechanical and electrical systems/components on production machinery, packaging equipment, and any other industrial machines. The compensation ranges from $28-$38/hr depending on experience & skillset with a full benefits and insurance package. We are currently hiring on

third shift

on a

direct hire, full-time basis .

The Electrical Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines, packaging equipment, food-processing machines, conveyors, and much more Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical (PLCs are a plus), pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, repair/replace, troubleshoot, and maintain gears/gearboxes, AC/DC motors, single and three phase, belts, valves, bearings, sprockets, relays, switches, etc. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Must have forklift operating skills Must have experience in an environment where safety and cleanliness are of utmost importance. Ability to train others. Comply with all OSHA Regulatory Compliance and company safety requirements. Qualifications:

Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Mechanical ability to detect and correct mechanical issues on shop floor (troubleshooter). Ability to use electrical meters for trouble shooting to include power, proper grounding and other areas as needed. Ability use a variety of hand and power tools to include but not limited to drill press, grinder, and other various equipment. Perform work orders using work order software system; Upkeep or SMS or other maintenance related software to be able to perform regular predictive maintenance duties. Technical Capacity & Ethical Conduct. Communication Proficiency. Results Driven & Initiative - Self Starter Welding/Fabrication skills are a definite plus
