Job Description SUMMARY The Lead Digital Media Specialist is a vital staff role that enhances the Advocacy Program through creative solutions and independent initiative. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will:

Develop and produce high-quality visual, video, and multimedia content for websites, social media, digital signage, and academic resources. Design branded templates for data collection and internal workflows. Publish engaging social media posts in line with the content calendar. Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and enhance engagement. Provide expertise in Microsoft Word for content structuring and formatting assistance to students. Collaborate with the Advocacy team to ensure content is impactful and meets program goals. Create video materials for training purposes. Design illustrations and graphics that resonate with our audience. Maintain a communication platform for coaches, judges, and teams. Ensure content quality, consistency, and accuracy. Manage and secure the Advocacy Program's databases. Engage alumni in collaboration with the Vice President, Advocacy and the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. Work closely with the Marketing Department to promote the Advocacy Program. Participate in strategic planning to advance the Advocacy Program’s mission. Comply with the Law School's Customer Service Standards. Support the overall mission of the law school and the Advocacy Program. Complete additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will possess: Strong experience with Microsoft Word. In-depth knowledge of social media trends and engagement strategies. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CMS, analytics tools, and content creation software. Experience with media editing tools like Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and Audacity. Proven ability to manage projects from concept through completion. A creative mindset and storytelling abilities. Excellent project management skills and an impressive portfolio showcasing design precision. A professional demeanor and the capacity to maintain confidentiality. Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups. Detail-oriented work ethic and capability to work independently. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field is preferred, with at least five years of relevant experience ideally in a nonprofit or academic context. LANGUAGE SKILLS Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to explain complex data clearly. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to conduct basic to intermediate math and analyze numerical data to identify trends. REASONING ABILITY A proven capability to tackle routine problems, gather data, and derive logical conclusions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is expected to sit, talk, and hear regularly, with the ability to perform light to moderate lifting. Close vision for data entry and proofreading is necessary. WORK ENVIRONMENT The role is conducted in a fast-paced, engaging environment requiring adherence to Customer Service Standards. Working hours are generally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some evenings and weekends required.
