Duties:
Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects
Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews
Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans
Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
Perform field observations and functional testing
Document and track test results on issue resolution logs
Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports
Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning
Minimum Requirements Experience:
Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning
Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements
ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional)
Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
Education:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License
Industry- recognized energy management certification
