Project Controls Scheduler (Primavera P6)

We are seeking a
Project Controls Scheduler (Primavera P6)
to support electric utility projects by developing and maintaining detailed
Primavera P6 schedules . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset, expertise in scheduling, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain
detailed project schedules
in
Oracle Primavera P6 , managing projects ranging from
20 to 200 activities .
Collaborate with
5-6 project managers
concurrently, supporting projects in various phases of
design and construction .
Load and maintain resource data
within schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of labor, materials, and costs.
Perform
quality checks and inspections
on project controls deliverables to maintain data integrity and compliance with project requirements.
Analyze
schedule and financial data
to ensure project timelines align with cost tracking and forecasting.
Understand and track the
technical progress
of electric utility
transmission line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects .
Integrate and analyze
scheduling data in
Excel , utilizing
advanced functions (formulas, pivot tables, and macros)
to improve project reporting.
Identify potential
scheduling risks
and work with project managers to develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
in
Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
from an accredited program.
Minimum 4 years
of experience in
project controls, scheduling, or construction management .
Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6
is required.
Proficiency in
Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros, and data integration) .
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to interpret complex scheduling data.
Excellent
written and verbal communication
skills, capable of effectively interfacing with project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work
onsite in Akron, OH or Reading, PA .
Willingness to travel as needed;
valid driver’s license required .
Must be a U.S. or Green Card holder.
