What You’ll Do
As a
Reconstruction Estimator , you will play a critical role in preparing accurate, thorough, and timely estimates for reconstruction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting on-site inspections to assess damages and repair needs.
Preparing detailed Xactimate estimates in accordance with program guidelines, building codes, and IICRC standards.
Capturing and documenting clear job site photos and uploading necessary data into our 365 system.
Communicating with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal team members to ensure estimate accuracy and timely approvals.
Reviewing and submitting supplements or change orders as needed.
Supporting the transition of projects from estimation to production, working collaboratively with the project management team.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with:
✔ 3+ years of experience writing reconstruction estimates in Xactimate (required). ✔ Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and restoration processes. ✔ A strong understanding of insurance programs and industry standards. ✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills. ✔ The ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates at once. ✔ Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job management software. ✔ A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. ✔ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
