We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Cable & Harness Inspector
to support our team in
Denton, TX . This is a
part-time, first shift
position, with a flexible schedule of
2–4 days per week on an as-needed basis . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable and harness inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities:
Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Denton, TX
Ensure products meet quality and specification standards
Verify safety wire , correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications
Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)
Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects
Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances
Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules
Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized
Required Qualifications:
Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620
Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering
Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing
: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods
Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields
Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components
Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills
