The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers in multiple geographies to understand hiring needs, priorities, and timing. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in high-volume recruiting and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and demands of trades industry. This position is onsite in Schaumburg, IL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leverage knowledge of position requirements to identify top talent and make informed hiring decisions. Partner with the hiring manager to determine specific hiring needs and requirements for each position to ensure the highest quality candidates are sourced and selected. Screen resumes against hiring criteria, phone interview qualified candidates, as requested, and present most qualified candidates to hiring managers for review. Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners to ensure a positive candidate experience that delivers effective communication throughout the recruitment process. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific associations to identify diverse, top-performing employees. Provide expertise to hiring managers on recruiting best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in the applicant tracking system to create and maintain regular reporting on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and recruiting metrics. Maintain records and files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Work across multiple time zones with multiple branches Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment Thorough understanding of recruiting methods, best practices Demonstrated ability to meet demanding hiring targets Strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology, roles, and requirements Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems Proficiency in using Glassdoor, Indeed Research, Boolean, social media, and LinkedIn searches for candidates Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering quality candidates Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources field, Marketing, or Communications Experience with recruiting trades people, specifically candidates in construction, low voltage, HVAC, etc. Experience with UKG HRIS System Knowledge of and experience using metrics to evaluate performance of recruiting efforts
