Entry-Level Shop Helper/Laborer
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Helper/Laborer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing and maintenance environment. The Shop Helper will assist with a variety of tasks including material handling, basic machine operation, cleaning, machine maintenance, and general shop support. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job/Skill Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs. Comfortable using basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, saws). Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Able to stand, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in learning mechanical systems. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Willingness to perform cleaning and general maintenance duties. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required).
