Description

Lima One Capital's Sales Manager is an experienced leader who has oversight of a phone-based sales team while continuing to produce at a high level. This leader is responsible for managing their Inside Sales team's daily activities, ensuring outbound calls are made, relationships are nurtured, and exceptional client service is provided. They lead by example, being visible and having a constant presence on the sales floor where they have active involvement in the sales process. As a trusted advisor, they are a guide and mentor, tasked with developing each member of the Inside Sales team to be peak performers.

Responsibilities:

Monitor calls made by team members and provide constructive feedback based on our sales framework. Provide on-the-spot coaching to improve submissions and funding. Assist in conducting interviews with SDR and Loan Officer candidates Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with the Sales Director to discuss production, hiring, identified bottlenecks, and teammates on performance improvement plans (PIP's) or those trending towards one. Review and escalate all loan exceptions, identifying approval/denial trends and coaching teammates on the reasons behind the decisions made. Talent Development

Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with each direct report to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Coach teammates to exceed the minimum expectations set forth by the company. Collaborate with the Sales Director to organize and execute sales meetings, which should incorporate sales training components. Identify potential future leaders within the sales team and work with the Sales Director to develop strategic plans for their growth. Pipeline Management

Ensure effective management of the Inside Sales (IS) pipeline, ensuring deals on track for closure are completed on time. This includes maintaining knowledge of the loans in the same status for at least 20 days, as well as all loans over $500k regardless of days in status. Generate weekly pipeline projections for your team using the formula provided by the Sales Director Requirements

Equivalent Education Level Required:

Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience/Knowledge Required:

3-5 years of relevant experience in investment real estate or conventional mortgage lending space within a sales function. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and able read nonverbal ques Strong mentor mentality with proven experience leading and developing both individuals and a team Strong working experience with MS Office products, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word Ability to navigate the challenges of being a 'working' leader on the floor Capability to negotiate tough situations with candor and grace Have a track record of meeting/exceeding KPIs and other departmental goals Proven analytical skills
